Filtering and searching your creative roadmap

ATIYO product documentation · Roadmaps · 5 min read

When your board holds dozens of creatives, scrolling is not a strategy. The Creative Roadmap gives you search and filters so you can pull up exactly the cards you care about in seconds, whether that is your own queue, everything in testing, or all UGC ads at a specific awareness level. This article covers each filter and how to combine them.

If you are new to the board, read what is the Creative Roadmap first for the overall picture.

Search by name

The quickest way to find a specific creative is search. Start typing a name or keyword and the board narrows to matching cards. Search is ideal when you already know roughly what a creative is called, for example a concept name or product reference. For broader questions like 'what is everyone editing right now?', reach for filters instead.

The four filters

The roadmap offers four filters that you can layer to get a precise view:

  • Status — show only creatives in a given stage, such as planned, working, testing, or winner.
  • Awareness — filter by the audience awareness level of the concept.
  • My queue — show only the creatives assigned to you.
  • Ad type — filter by format, such as UGC, static, or another ad type from your Brand Bible.

Filter by status

Filtering by status answers 'what is in this stage?'. A strategist might filter to needs brief to see the writing backlog, while a media buyer filters to ready to test to see the launch queue. For a full explanation of each stage, read how creative statuses work.

Filter by awareness

Awareness level describes how much your audience already knows about the problem and your solution. Filtering by awareness helps you check coverage: if every creative targets the most aware audiences, you may be missing top-of-funnel concepts. It is a fast way to spot gaps in your testing plan.

Filter to my queue

My queue is the filter editors and strategists use most. It hides everything except the creatives assigned to you, so your board becomes a personal to-do list. Combine it with a status filter to answer 'what do I have that is still in working?' in one glance.

Start your day with my-queue plus the working status filter. That single view tells you exactly what you own and need to finish, with no noise from the rest of the team.

Filter by ad type

Ad type filters by format, so you can review all your UGC concepts, all your statics, or any other type your team uses. This is useful when you want to compare how a format is performing across the pipeline or make sure you are testing a healthy mix of formats.

Combining filters

Filters stack, and that is where they get powerful. Each filter you add narrows the board further. Some combinations that come up often:

  • My queue + working — everything you personally need to finish.
  • Testing + ad type: UGC — how your UGC concepts are performing in live tests.
  • Ready to test + awareness — check whether your launch queue covers every awareness level.
  • Winner + ad type — see which formats produce the most winners so you can double down.

Fast navigation with the keyboard

Once you have filtered to a focused set of cards, use keyboard navigation to move through them without touching the mouse. This pairs well with filters for rapid triage: filter to a stage, then step through each card and act on it. It keeps you in flow when you are clearing a backlog.

Turning a filtered view into a saved board

If you find yourself applying the same filters every day, that view may deserve its own board. A recurring filter often signals a distinct pipeline, for example a product line or campaign that could live on its own roadmap. Learn when to make that jump in organizing work with multiple roadmaps.

A quick workflow

  1. Open the roadmap.
  2. Apply the my-queue filter to see only your cards.
  3. Add a status filter, such as working, to narrow to what you are producing now.
  4. Use search when you need one specific creative by name.
  5. Clear filters when you want the full board view again.

Next steps

Now that you can find any group of creatives fast, act on them efficiently with updating creatives in bulk, and keep ownership clear with assigning creatives and setting due dates.
