How to set up ATIYO Brain with your own AI key

ATIYO product documentation · Getting Started · 5 min read

ATIYO Brain uses a bring-your-own-key setup. A workspace administrator connects one AI provider key for the active brand workspace, then that connection activates both ATIYO Brain and Static Studio for that workspace. The key is not shared with other brands simply because the same person can access them.

What you need

  • Administrator access in the workspace you are setting up.
  • An active key from the provider you choose: OpenRouter, fal.ai, or Kie.ai.
  • A clear idea of which brand workspace should own the connection.

Connect the provider

  1. Switch to the brand workspace you want to configure.
  2. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  3. Find the AI provider section.
  4. Choose OpenRouter, fal.ai, or Kie.ai.
  5. Paste the provider key and select Connect.
  6. Confirm the connected state shows the provider and a shortened key hint. Brain and Static Studio are now active for this workspace.

What the Brain uses

Brain is most useful after the workspace has real context: a Brand Bible, structured briefs, creative outcomes, and written learnings. It is designed to reason from records in the active workspace and cite those records in its answers. It is not a substitute for recording what actually happened in a test.

Keep the connection healthy

If the provider rejects the key or has an availability problem, replace the key from the same Settings section and confirm the connected state again. Switching providers replaces the current provider connection for that workspace. Only workspace administrators can make that change.

Treat provider keys like payment credentials. Use a workspace-owned key, do not paste it into a brief or comment, and remove the connection if the brand no longer authorizes it.

Once connected, open ATIYO Brain after you have logged a real creative result. To build the evidence it can use, follow how to create a variation test from a roadmap creative and tracking winners and capturing learnings.
