Managing your ATIYO account settings

ATIYO product documentation · Account & Billing · 5 min read

Your ATIYO account settings are the control center for your workspace. From one place you can update your profile, adjust your brand name, review your plan and storage, and jump to team management. This guide walks through each area so you always know where to go. Everything below lives in Settings.

Where to find your account settings

Open Settings from the main navigation. Settings is organized into sections so you can move quickly between your personal profile, your workspace details, and your plan. If you are an Admin, you will see more options here than Strategists or Editors, since some controls affect the whole workspace.

Update your profile

Your profile is how the rest of your team sees you across ATIYO. It appears on brief assignments, roadmap cards, Vault review comments, and the per-member stats in Insights. Keep it current so notifications and assignments reach the right person.

  1. Open Settings and find the profile section.
  2. Update your display name so teammates recognize you on assignments and comments.
  3. Confirm your email address is correct, since this is where in-app notifications and invites are tied.
  4. Save your changes.
Your email address is also your login and the address teammates use when they invite you. If it changes, update it here first so you do not lose access to notifications.

Manage your brand name and workspace

The brand name you set during onboarding shows up throughout ATIYO, including on the dashboard and in your Brand Bible. If you rebranded, spun up a new brand, or simply want a cleaner label, you can update the brand name in Settings. This is a workspace-level change, so it applies for everyone on the team.

  • The brand name anchors your workspace identity across the app.
  • It appears alongside your customer avatars and library in the Brand Bible.
  • Changing it does not affect your briefs, roadmaps, or Vault files.

Review your plan and storage

Settings is also where you see which plan you are on and how much Vault storage you have used. Every plan comes with a storage quota, and uploads to The Vault count against it. If you are approaching your limit, this is the first place you will notice.

  1. In Settings, locate your current plan and billing details.
  2. Check your storage usage against your plan's quota.
  3. If you need more room or more features, choose the option to upgrade your plan.

For a full breakdown of what each tier includes, see Understanding ATIYO plans. When you are ready to move up, Upgrading or changing your plan covers the exact steps.

Jump to team management

Settings connects to your Team page, where you invite people by email and assign roles. ATIYO has three workspace roles: Admin, Strategist, and Editor. Only Admins can change roles or manage billing, so if a control is missing for you, your role is likely the reason. Learn more in Team roles and permissions explained.

There is no separate Viewer workspace role. The viewer role only exists when you share an individual folder inside The Vault, not for the workspace as a whole.

Notification preferences

ATIYO keeps you in the loop with an in-app notification bell. You will get notified when someone leaves a Vault review comment, shares a folder with you, or assigns you a brief or roadmap card. These notifications key off your profile, so keeping your name and email accurate in Settings ensures they land with the right person.

  • Review comments: someone replies to or opens a Frame.io-style comment on a file you are involved with in The Vault.
  • Folder shares: a teammate shares a Vault folder with you as an editor or viewer.
  • Assignments: you are assigned a brief or a card on the Creative Roadmap.

Settings by role

What you can change in Settings depends on your workspace role. This is by design, so account-level decisions stay with the people who own them.

  • Admins can manage billing, the plan, the brand name, and every workspace setting.
  • Strategists and Editors can manage their own profile but not billing or the plan.
  • If a control you expect is missing, your role is the most likely reason.
If you need a setting you cannot access, ask an Admin on your team rather than creating a second workspace. Keeping everyone in one workspace keeps your Brand Bible, roadmap, and Vault together.

Keeping your account tidy

A few small habits keep your workspace clean over time. Archive Brand Bible entries you no longer use, empty the Vault trash to reclaim storage, and remove teammates who have left from Team. These upkeep steps make Insights more accurate and keep your storage usage honest.

Next steps

Once your profile and brand name are set, take a moment to review your plan and confirm your team roles are correct. If you are just getting started, head to your dashboard to keep building out your Brand Bible and first briefs. If you need to change what your plan includes, continue to Upgrading or changing your plan.
